Recent Restoration Projects.
Here are some examples of furniture I have repaired, restored and upholstered. I use traditional techniques and various waxes, oils and stains to perfectly restore each piece.

Repaired and re-upholstered in the client's chosen fabric.

This deckchair is a real piece of history and had to be put back together again and stained then French polished. It is made from teak which came from the World War I battleship HMS Thunderer.

Beautiful chair in the process of being upholstered.

Finished chair upholstered with the customers choice of fabric.

Carving out a replacement missing piece from a chair.

This chair has been French polished and upholstered to match the Chaise Longue.

This very old Cherry chair had to be taken apart and reassembled before French polishing and having a new seat made. The seat was restored using the original horsehair and cotton wadding, then covered using a Turkish fabric the customer had purchased.

These were to be sanded and finished to be used as tables and the bottom of a bar for weddings.

These have been stripped and sanded then finished with Danish oil. The perfect bar table.
